Lisa K Cannada, MD, Associate Professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Saint Louis University | Core Curriculum (Fridays 8-9:30 AM) Core Curriculum is protected educational time for residents and consists of one and one-half hour lectures held each Friday morning, following Grand Rounds. It is based on the subject matter covered in the Orthopaedic In-Training Examination (OITE), approved by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). Attendance by all residents is mandatory. A faculty section leader is in charge of each subject area and is responsible for recruiting speakers. The current Core Curriculum schedule can be found here.
