Typical Spine Cases


Scoliosis Case

  • Adolescent patient with progressive curve unresponsive to brace treatment
  • Treated by latest technique using thoracic pedicle screws, obtaining excellent correction of the deformity, all from a single posterior approach
  • Before (left) and after (right) treatment

 

Tumor Case

  • Senior adult with destruction of vertebral body by a tumor
  • Treated with a titanium prosthesis creating an immediately stable spine, allowing resumption of activities

Old Fracture Causing Pain

  • Adult patient with a history of a fracture and resulting malalignment, causing pain
  • Treated by removal of fractured vertebra and realignment of spine to normal position
