UMN Academic Health Center Communications
The University of Minnesota Academic Health Center (AHC) can help publicize your research accomplishments, and they have personal relations liaisons who can serve as intermediaries between the media and the researcher. This link describes the different ways the AHC can share your results.
Diverse Community Media Directory
The Diverse Community Media directory was compiled by the Minnesota Department of Health’s Refugee and International Health Program. It was created to be a quick reference for individuals working to identify appropriate media channels that reach a broad cross section of diverse groups, including populations of color, American Indians, GLBTQ, people with disabilities, immigrants and refugees in the Twin Cities metro area and, to a limited extent, greater Minnesota.
UMN Government and Community Relations
The UMN Government and Community Relations team are the lobbyists and representatives before Congress, at the State Capitol, and in our City Halls- representing the entire University of Minnesota system. It is their responsibility to build support for the University among elected and community leaders, advance the priorities of the Board of Regents, and provide strategic advice and counsel to University faculty, staff, and students.

Data Archiving and Preservation
UMN Digital Conservancy
The Digital Conservancy is the institutional repository at the University of Minnesota. They provide free, public access, and long-term preservation to work created at UMN.
University Imaging Centers (UIC)
The University Imaging Centers is a shared resource that provides services and support to present findings visually. They offer poster and 3D printing services at three locations across the UMN Twin Cities Campus. Posters can be printed on paper or cloth in as little as one business day. They also offer laptop, projector, and camera reservations, and CD/DVD duplication services.
UMN Office for Public Engagement
The University of Minnesota Office for Public Engagement (OPE) works with University academic programs and engagement units on all five campuses to build capacity to produce high-quality public engagement programs and initiatives. OPE also connects the public engagement agenda to the work of the University’s various administrative units including faculty affairs, undergraduate education, graduate education, student affairs, equity and diversity, international programs, extension, and others.
Minnesota Public Health Research to Action Network
The Minnesota Public Health Research to Action Network launched in 2009 to stimulate public health systems and services across Minnesota. The network was created to produce important new insights and relevant findings that can be used by practitioners and elected officials to improve public health services, organizations, and systems, and ultimately improve the health of Minnesotans.
Evidence-Informed Policies Network (EVIPNet)
The Evidence-Informed Policy Network (EVIPNet) is a network established by the World Health Organization to promote the systematic use of research evidence in health policy-making in order to strengthen health systems and get the right programs, services, and drugs to those who need them.

This site from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality allows primary care practitioners to share outcomes and participate in discussions.
The Dataverse Network
Dataverse is an open source web application to share, preserve, cite, explore, and analyze research data. It facilitates making data available to others, and allows you to replicate others’ work more easily. Researchers, data authors, publishers, data distributors, and affiliated institutions all receive academic credit and web visibility.
transSMART is a knowledge management platform that enables scientists to develop and refine research hypotheses by investigating correlations between genetic and phenotypic data, and assessing their analytical results in the context of published literature and other work. It was designed to meet the needs of basic scientists, clinician-scientists, pharmacologists, toxicologist, and others involved in drug discovery and development.
